  • Question: Is not expecting much from someone,  settling for less? (When do you know when you’re expecting too much, or just settling for the average Joe)

  • In my opinion, hard to say. I think the more appropriate question might be whether you are settling for less because you simply don’t care as much about that person as you may think you do…or alternatively, do you care so much about that person that you are willing to accept their faults and shortcomings? I know, doesn’t answer your question does it? But just a thought…

  • It always depends on the situation and on the person. There are certain people that you would automatically expect more from just because of who they are… and others, well you have to learn to expect that you won’t receive much for what you give.

You’ll come to realize that sometimes even the people you care about the most won’t live up to your expectations…so it’s easier at times to lower your expectations – you’ll find overall that you will be surprised more often.

Wow, this song is so gr.7. Feels like deja-vu.

  • Settling isn’t solely about facing another persons shortcomings but also your own.
