Whoa Nelly.
I’ve always loved Nelly from day one, (partial because she’s Canadian, and I’m very proud of it). But also because she has this ultimate passion for music. Her music is a true artwork. I don’t know anybody that could jump from pop to folk to hip-hop with so much success and positive criticism. I think people could see that she’s maybe one of the few out there that works outside the box and is genuine in the music industry. And for a single mother? She has such an optimistic view on life, it’s like.. she just deals with it.
I think the producers are silly to take out Chris Martin’s voice out from the song “All Good Things (Come to an End)” because it was too “rockish”. Even though I don’t really like Coldplay [anymore], I think it adds a solid foundation to the sound. It sounds a bit mundane on the regular track.

guess who? hehe! i *totally agree with you about nelle furtado =) her music takes a little time getting used to but once you do, you hear the genuine talent behind the music and that’s what being a true musician is about =)

hey ellen, you are a sweetheart. i’ve only run into her like once after the incident. i can’t exactly avoid her but the chances of bumping into her are minimal even though my parents and her work in the same area, it’s not like she’ll be taking any walks or anything. =) thanks so much ellen, you helped me to feel even better about the situation. =)
how are you? how are things at york? i know exactly what you mean about not keeping in touch with everyone you’ve met because of time and place constraints. people i’ve met, and some are great! they’re in different programs and our schedules just do not mesh. =( it is so sad.
i know i’ve been saying for so long but i really do mean it, “i want to see you and hang out with you!” so for now, i’m off to bed but i’ve been thinking of you nelle and i miss you!

hmmm…(in miscellaneous and somewhat ‘off-topic’ department)…about the pic of that ‘other’ Nelly…something about affected makeup is offputting (to me)…and those ear bangles…holy cow…her earlobes will be to her shoulders if she keeps hangin’ dem chandeliers…as for ColdPlay…funny about ColdPlay, ain’t it? We all seem to have LOVED them, but then moved on…maybe Nelly will move on from her blackened eye surrounds (soon)…and we’ll see that she really IS a lovely lady!..s’pose I shouldn’t critique her promo pics, though…since I have in my darkest past, pics of me with UNBELIEVABLY huge, frizzy hair (no fear of THAT anymore – since most of it has magically disappeared…blah, blah, blah…
