Female Djs.
Let me say this again, why aren’t there any female DJs? Up to date, I haven’t even heard of one single female DJ spinning in the Toronto area. Either that, they’re really unheard of, and all the really popular Djs are all males. Hello, affirmative action? Where are youuuu?? We need some females in this industry, really.
I used to fling with this DJ in highschool. After school, I would go to his house and I would get him to teach me how to scratch. It was really fun. But because I was a shy little girl and didn’t want to risk looking stupid in front of my fling, I didn’t exploit his turntable as much as I wanted to.
She needs to slap on some make up. She looks kind of butch with all those tattoos. Being a female Dj does not mean to be butch. It means looking pretty — and spinnin.
See how hot that looks, a Blonde!
DJ Barbie? Actually, some other blonde DJ already took that name.
If a woman really DJed, she would be playing Beyonce all, night, long.
“To the left… to the left…”
Xangans, what do you think about female Djs, Nay or Yay? Explain.

No offense, but if the photo with the blonde DJ had a caption, it would say “holy crap, what have I gotten myself into, I have no idea what this contraption is in front of me!” : )
Defintiely YAY to female Djs though. I can’t think of their names now, but there are a couple in the Toronto area.
they’re hot! and there’s a lot of them in cali.
female djs suck.
Yay! but honestly, only if they’re really good. not a dj wannabe who’s just mediocre. and yes, there are a lot in cali. check out Dj Shy, a korean dj from the LA area. she’s great!

The baddest female DJ in Socal back in the day was DJ Symphony of the Beat Junkies. Okay, I don’t know how bad she was, but she was one of the first, and she’s on one of the best crews ever.
I don’t care who’s DJing, as long as they know what they’re doing. I can tell you after doing a few parties (I’m not great, by any means), the most annoying thing is people that come up to you and think they are experts because they want you to play their song. Just because you like your song, doesn’t mean every song is gonna get people jumpin’. Also, some people need to learn to let go and just dance to whatever music is on, have fun with it. Be silly. Let go. And no guy should ever approach my table asking for Shakira or Kylie Minogue, but someone did.
ooh, i’d be happy to oblige, find me on facebook! easiest way would probably be kua’s list.
