Obama Baby.
I don’t know why it didn’t occur to me to take a bus to Washington to watch Obama’s inauguration. I don’t have work or school today. I feel regret creeping up.
Like they say, you don’t have to be African American or American for that matter, to appreciate what that man stands for.
I am a Canadian by the way. And 26% of the poll-takers would vote for Obama over any of our home grown leaders any day. That’s what they said.

Don’t you just love the ending to the Benediction?

If my vote would have counted, I would have voted for McCain. Oh well. I still would have gone to the inauguration. It is a very historic moment. Too bad I live across the country and have to work. Good luck to Obama.
i was trying hard to listen to the benediction, but my co-workers started talking because they got antsy. he was a good speaker, i wish i got to take in the whole thing fully. the 3 amen cry was rousing. the poem beforehand wasn’t bad, but the delivery was so dead that a pan couldn’t fry eggs even if had oil and fire. is that the line of the day or what!
